Deine Rolle im Team
- Develop innovative software tools, applications, services, and platforms to enhance Quandoo's internal systems and product portfolio
- Create robust high-volume production applications, as well as prototype development
- Manage the entire product lifecycle - from the first lines of code to continuous maintenance in production
- Keeping up-to-date with industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies
- Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of market developments
- Share your knowledge by helping the team, mentoring junior engineers and evolving best practices

Ausbildung
- BSc / MSc in Computer Science or related fields
Qualifikationen
- Familiarity with microservices-style architecture
- Passionate about creating high-quality clean code
- Familiar with common monitoring / alerting / logging tools such as Splunk and Datadog
- Curiosity and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills, high proficiency in English
- Building, maintaining & running a high traffic system in a microservice environment with Kubernetes
Erfahrung
- Extensive (5+ years) professional programming experience in Java, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with CI/CD using Gitlab pipelines
- Professional experience in cloud platform hosting via AWS / GCP as well via helm
- Experience with JVM languages beyond Java, like Kotlin
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, distributed systems, web-based systems, and open web standards
- Experience with streaming architectures such as Lambda or Kappa
