- To strengthen our software organization, we are looking for you as an Embedded Linux Team Lead who takes ownership of systems that make a real difference in the field.
- In this role, you provide technical and disciplinary leadership and shape the foundation of our mission-critical platforms.
- Your work enables high-performance, robust, and reliable embedded systems designed to operate under demanding real-world conditions.
- You set technical direction, ensure long-term system stability, and guide complex embedded solutions from initial concept through to operational deployment.
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of an embedded Linux development team.
- Planning, coordination, and prioritization of development tasks and resources.
- Technical ownership of embedded Linux platforms (BSP, kernel, drivers, user space).
- Close collaboration with product management, hardware development, and embedded software development.
- Ensuring high code quality, architectural standards, and robust development processes.
- Coaching, mentoring, and continuous development of team members.
- Contribution to technology decisions and long-term strategic development.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Qualifikationen
- Strong expertise in: Linux kernel, device trees, and driver development; Build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot; C/C++ (ideally also shell scripting and Python).
- Structured, solution-oriented working style.
- Very good English skills (German language skills are a plus).
Erfahrung
- Several years of experience in embedded Linux development.
- Experience in technical leadership or in a senior/lead engineer role.
