- Creation and refinement of technical concepts, requirements and software architecture.
- Development, implementation and test of the simulators.
- Supporting technical reviews and support project milestone reviews.
- Coordination with customers and internal software teams for the design, for reviews and the timely delivery of simulators.

Ausbildung
- Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
Qualifikationen
- Proficiency in modern C++ (or similar languages).
- Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning.
- High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong competence in working in a multicultural team.
- Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
Erfahrung
- Ideally previous experience as software architect/technical lead in larger software projects (e.g. automotive, aerospace, scientific computing or gaming).
- Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation is a plus.
- Experience with development and simulation of networks and communication systems and related protocols/technologies is a plus.
- Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO-178C) would be an advantage.
