Deine Rolle im Team
- You will be part of the Technology Team and directly reporting to our Head of Technology.
- As an Engineer, you take over ownership for projects from conception to final product.
- Your tasks will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures and working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
- Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Node.js.
- Developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web applications and services.
- Transforming complex design and UX requirements into well-tuned applications.
- Become a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team and contribute to growing the skills and knowledge of your peers.
- Work with product owners and designers to ensure we deliver maximum value to our customers.
- Support Development and Pre-Production environments.
- Minimize system downtime through minimization of recurring problems.
- Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
- Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
- Add positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- University degree in computer science/engineering or comparable degree courses.
Qualifikationen
- Good understanding of CSS-in-JS technologies.
- Strong computer science and coding skills in at least one programming language, and a desire to pick up more.
- We work primarily in Typescript with React, Next.js and NestJS.
- Attention to quality and details, and you know what it means to ship high-quality code that is easy to maintain and extend.
- DevOps mindset: you build it, you run it.
- Proficient in the practices of Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- In depth knowledge of Unit and End-to-end testing.
- Clean and understandable code writing.
- Solid refactoring and debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail and being able to handle multiple different topics at once.
- Good organizational, prioritization and planning skills in order to be able to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player who is able to take on responsibility and execute tasks independently with little supervision and under pressure in our production environment.
- Ability to confidently and effectively discuss technical issues with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills in English, high level of spoken English, other language skills are a plus.
Erfahrung
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js development (min. 4 years).
- Solid experience with Linux, Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
- Deep understanding of user experience, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
