Deine Rolle im Team
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator with at least 8 years of experience and expertise in managing and optimizing various database technologies along with a strong background in database migration and conversion.
- Administering and optimizing database systems on Windows and Linux using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
- Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases.
- Deploying and troubleshooting High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Familiar with different Backups & Recovery solutions and third-party database backup utilities.
- Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement maintenance improvement and automation focus.
- Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization activities.
- Working with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure), Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud.
- Programming/scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Writing complex SQL queries on customer data to provide reports needed.
- Conceiving and implementing professional/technical training courses for internal employees.

Qualifikationen
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certification or Microsoft Certification.
- Excellent knowledge of backend database systems in enterprise architectures.
- High teamwork and communication skills, reliability and an independent way of working and willingness to support the team.
Erfahrung
- Successful completion of Computer Science or Information Technology studies for system integration, with relevant years of professional experience.
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
