Deine Rolle im Team
- We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Junior Technologist - Separation Technologies to join our IPI team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for setting up laboratory equipment, conducting various separation technology trials, and analyzing results to support the development of production products and processes for natural flavors and concentrates.
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment for separation technologies.
- Perform experiments including distillation, extraction, adsorption, and chromatography.
- Carry out analytical procedures including gas chromatography (GC, GC/MS), and HPLC.
- Prepare and handle samples for testing.
- Independently evaluate and interpret test results with appropriate documentation in laboratory journals and SAP.
- Prepare reports and presentations on test results, product and process developments.
- Assist in the development of production processes for flavor concentration from natural raw materials.
- Register product and development numbers in SAP.
- Conduct product reviews and in-process controls.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cleanliness, and tidiness.
- Promote networking within the various departments and liaise with them across the Symrise landscape.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technician or BSc in a chemical or technological field (chemistry, food technology, …).
- Technical knowledge of separation technologies, analytical equipment and techniques.
- Strong understanding of process engineering.
- Proficiency in analytical methods (GC, GC/MS, HPLC, etc.).
- IT skills: MS Office, SAP and related analytical software (GC, GC/MS, HPLC).
- Language skills: German and English written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail, diligence, self-organization, reliability and conscientiousness.
- Flexibility, commitment, and ability to work in a team.
Erfahrung
- Work experience in a relevant laboratory environment.
- Experience of scale-up processes from laboratory to production.
