- At Paessler, we share a passion for software and care about the people who create it. Our developers play a key role in shaping Paessler PRTG, which more than 500,000 users rely on every day. We are currently looking for a Backend Software Developer with strong Rust and database experience to take our monitoring software to the next level.
- You will be part of an 8-person cross-functional team focused on our software for large and enterprise customers. For this role, it is important that you have a modern technology stack and enjoy learning new technologies and integrating them into our products. - You will work in an agile team within the product development for Paessler PRTG.
- You and a small, effective team will focus on the needs of our enterprise customers and work on continuous product improvements.
- You will plan, develop and modernize software features together with your team.
- You will contribute your own ideas and participate in discussions, planning and their implementation together with the product manager.
- As a team, you take responsibility for architecture and code quality.
- You support the team with knowledge transfer, code reviews and testing of new features.
- You assist our technical support in 3rd-level cases, analyze, isolate and resolve problems within complex environments.
- You and the team work together to ensure a high level of quality and stability of the system.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- You have knowledge of AI/ML technologies or strong interest to learn and apply them in development.
- You are keen to learn more of a messaging system and its integration into PRTG.
- You are willing to learn Rust is an advantage.
- You are willing to learn about how our network monitoring software works.
- You are very familiar with the development of software architectures, the implementation of clean code principles and the application of design patterns.
- You are familiar with Git and are interested in a modern CI/CD infrastructure with GitLab and Jira.
- You have an agile mindset.
- You are able to communicate in English fluently.
Erfahrung
- You have strong experience in Delphi and familiarity with modern programming practices.
- You have solid experience with databases and their integration into software, or you are very interested in learning about this and applying it in development.
- You have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge and solid experience.
