Deine Rolle im Team
- As an Embedded Software Engineer in our RTLS team, you will:
- Develop and maintain software for our RTLS anchors and sensors.
- Design and implement embedded Linux and FreeRTOS applications.
- Integrate hardware components and communication interfaces.
- Develop and maintain device drivers and Linux kernel modules where required.
- Implement secure software deployment and update mechanisms.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, backend, and product teams.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Linux development & system programming, u-boot, device tree & drivers, or kernel modules.
- Embedded Linux build environment: Poky (Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, BitBake) is a plus.
- Hardware interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet.
- Embedded security concepts (image signing, encryption, secure updates).
- Very good English skills and the ability to collaborate in an international engineering environment.
- Variscite or similar ARM platforms.
- Bitbake as build automation tool.
- Lowlevel MCU programming.
- FreeRTOS/Zephyr or comparable RTOS environments.
- Radio protocols.
Erfahrung
- We are looking for a mid-level or senior embedded software engineer with experience developing Linux and RTOS-based systems:
- Experience with automated firmware, hardware-in-the-loop and integration testing.
