Deine Rolle im Team
- Symrise is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Vendor Manager to lead and optimize strategic IT vendor relationships that are critical to our business and technology success.
- This role ensures vendors deliver on agreed objectives, support innovation, and remain aligned with our evolving IT landscape and business priorities.
- Translate business and IT strategy into actionable vendor plans and measurable objectives.
- Develop and maintain strategic vendor roadmaps and improvement initiatives.
- Oversee vendor governance activities and performance management across contracts.
- Prepare and facilitate governance meetings, ensuring effective follow-up and accountability.
- Monitor vendor performance, stakeholder satisfaction, and value contribution.
- Collaborate with internal functions such as Contract Management, Commercial, and Risk & Compliance.
- Support vendor segmentation, performance reporting, and portfolio reviews.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies within vendor engagements.
- Contribute to sourcing strategies and guide vendor positioning within the service portfolio.
- Drive knowledge transfer, onboarding, and continuity between vendors and internal teams.
- Promote vendor collaboration in IT innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Deep understanding of vendor governance, performance metrics, and risk management.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into vendor execution strategies.
- Structured, data-driven approach to managing vendor outcomes and reporting.
- Fluent English (C1+); German is a plus.
Erfahrung
- 7+ years in IT vendor management or IT service management, preferably in multi-vendor or outsourced environments.
- Strong communicator with experience working across cross-functional and international teams.
- Experience engaging vendors in continuous improvement and digital innovation efforts.
