Deine Rolle im Team
- Bring deep expertise in German accounting and tax rules, standards, and day-to-day accounting practices.
- Help product teams understand how Steuerberater work in practice, including their workflows, pain points, vocabulary, tools, and expectations.
- Contribute to the definition of product requirements for accounting- and tax-related features.
- Review product designs, specifications, and user flows to ensure they are accounting-relevant and compliant with German accounting and tax practices.
- Support the Product Director and Product Managers in prioritizing accounting-related product opportunities.
- Act as an internal reference point for questions related to German accounting and tax, Steuerberater workflows, and accounting software usage.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to clarify edge cases and ensure implementation choices are aligned with accounting reality.
- Work with Steuerberater partners to gather feedback, validate product directions, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Help structure internal knowledge around German accounting and tax processes, tools, and best practices.
- Support go-to-market, customer success, and operations teams when accounting expertise is needed.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- You have worked as a Steuerberater or in a senior accounting or tax role in Germany.
- You have strong knowledge of German accounting and tax processes, obligations, and professional practices.
- You understand how tax advisory firms operate and how Steuerberater work with SME clients.
- You have ideally worked at, or closely with, one of our Steuerberater partners in Germany.
- You are comfortable translating complex accounting and tax topics into clear product and business language.
- You can work effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and senior stakeholders.
- You speak perfect German and very good English.
- You are ideally based in the Berlin area.
Erfahrung
- You have experience with German accounting software such as DATEV, Addison, Agenda, Simba, or similar tools.
