- Administration, maintenance, and optimization of our PostgreSQL databases
- Ensuring data integrity, availability, and security
- Performing performance analyses and implementing optimization measures
- Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies
- Supporting the planning and execution of database migrations
- Collaborating closely with developers to optimize database queries and schemas
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting database-related issues
- Documenting database architectures, configurations, and processes
- Automating database installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
Qualifikationen
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies as well as performance tuning in PostgreSQL
- Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is a plus
- Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work
- Excellent communication skills in English
Erfahrung
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in administering relational databases
- Solid experience with SQL and database design
- Experience with Ansible is a plus, but not required
