- We are looking for a Systems Engineer Linux to join our systems and infrastructure team.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with solid experience in Linux administration, infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.
- This role focuses on maintaining, improving, and automating stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports our critical services.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Support the operation of local and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security and support incident response activities.
- Collaborate with development, security and data teams to support infrastructure requirements and workflows.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, SOPs and infrastructure diagrams.
- Contribute to improving operational processes and infrastructure standards.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, storage, and system troubleshooting.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling, such as GitLab or similar.
- Knowledge of virtualization, containerization or object storage technologies is a plus.
- Excellent German and English language skills are required for this position.
Erfahrung
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Linux systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, backup and incident management tools.
