- We're looking for a backend engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys building robust systems end-to-end.
- You'll work across data pipelines, APIs and infrastructure, ensuring our platform runs efficiently and scales cleanly as we grow.
- Develop and maintain backend features and APIs for our core platform.
- Improve database performance, reliability and real-time data processing.
- Debug, profile and optimise code to keep latency low and systems stable.
- Collaborate with AI, frontend and product teams to integrate new capabilities.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and shape the evolution of our backend stack.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Solid in SQL and data modelling (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a problem.
- Startup mindset - quick to ship, focused on quality, allergic to bureaucracy.
- Linux debugging and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible).
- Interest in edge/cloud hybrid architectures.
Erfahrung
- 5-7 years' experience building production-grade backends (Python is a must; additional experience in Go, C++, or Java is valuable).
- Experienced with REST APIs and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Experience with data pipelines or analytical databases.
