- In this leadership position, you will oversee a team responsible for planning and implementing telecom systems across a variety of rail-related projects.
- Your contributions will help shape the future of sustainable mobility.
- Provide both technical and personnel leadership to the telecom planning team.
- Manage planning efforts for new builds, upgrades, and expansions of TK/ÜT systems, including components of ETCS and digital signaling systems.
- Supervise modernization of telecom infrastructure (fiber optics, GSM-R, DBMAS, etc.).
- Serve as liaison with clients, stakeholders, and other project contributors.
- Coordinate efforts with safety and control technology teams and other disciplines.
- Ensure planning deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Guide staff through technical site assessments and evaluations.
- Lead project management efforts internally, focusing on deadlines, budgets, and team capacity.
- Review external plans for quality, schedule alignment, and cost control.
- Represent the team's work and progress in internal and client-facing meetings.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- University degree in electrical, railway, or transport engineering.
Qualifikationen
- Familiarity with GSM-R, fiber optics, ETCS, DBMAS, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of HOAI, VOB, and DB-specific technical guidelines.
- Competence in preparing bids and awarding planning services.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, iTwo, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented work style.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
Erfahrung
- Proven experience with telecom systems in rail environments.
- Previous leadership experience, or a strong interest in people and project management.
