Job Zusammenfassung
In dieser Position gewährleistest du stabile und sichere IT-Infrastrukturen für globale Data Center, überwachst Bauprojekte, koordinierst externe Lieferanten und entwickelst die IT-Architektur weiter.
Deine Rolle im Team
- The purpose of this position is to ensure that IT delivers standardized systems and platforms for a stable, secure and efficient infrastructure for the Data Centers and other buildings on a global level.
- Definition of IT standards for the areas of network, racks, cabling and construction requirements.
- Responsibility for the implementation according to the standard.
- Performing on site control of construction sites in all relevant phases.
- Responsibility for the management of purchasing as well as external suppliers.
- Responsibility for adherence to schedules, especially timely ordering, and delivery.
- Reporting of status, projects, issues etc. to IT and Executive Management.
- Technical management of the team Network/Security covering L2 and L3 networking including WiFi and telephony.
- Further development of the existing IT architecture.
- Acting coordinating interface especially but not limited to the named departments in Purpose above.
- Consult the business in the respective IT areas to identify best IT solutions to enhance business capabilities.
- Management of group internal and external IT service providers and specialist groups.
- Evaluation, coordination, and processing of change requests including demand management in those areas.
- Responsibility for resource and delivery planning within the team.
- Continuous improvement of existing processes and input in the definition of new processes.
- Acting Project Manager within own area for bigger projects.
- Strong collaboration with Procurement Team to identify cost efficiency opportunities.
- Processing incidents and service requests in the ticket system (2nd level support).
- Participation in on-call duties.

Erfahrung
- Completed vocational training with a focus on computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Multiple years of professional experience in the area of network and DC infrastructure or equivalent.
- Very good knowledge and working experiences in network and DC infrastructure.
