Deine Rolle im Team
- In this global role, you will lead the management and modernization of Symrise Data Center locations in Germany and France, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality service, cost-effectiveness, and technical innovation.
- Solution Architecture & Lifecycle Management: Define and develop a roadmap for data center evolution and modernization, working closely with the team to adapt to new technical architectures and solutions.
- Data Center & Infrastructure Operations: Oversee installation, maintenance, monitoring, patching, and updating of servers, storage, and network resources.
- Virtualization & Application Support: Resolve issues in virtualization environments and ensure robust application lifecycle management.
- Technical Consultation & Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, solution engineers, and admins to address technical queries and coordinate with external service providers.
- Business Needs Analysis: Assess network infrastructure and systems to meet evolving business requirements and optimize service delivery.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Advanced knowledge in VMware vSphere, operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking (routing, load balancing, switching), security (firewall, VPN), or relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL).
- Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
Erfahrung
- At least 3 years in infrastructure operations.
- First experience with GCP and/or Azure, automation, and infrastructure as code (IAC) is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, supported by ServiceNow experience.
