Deine Rolle im Team
- Development of leading-edge technology to advance KLA's metrology systems with a focus on light sources.
- Drive system characterization and error budget creation/analysis.
- Derive clear actions to improve module and system performance.
- Hands-on laboratory work to build, run and iterate complex optical setups.
- Support in-house production and system integration; support customers and suppliers with technical feedback.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (optics, mechanics, electronics) in an international environment.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Master's degree (or PhD) in Physics / Optical Engineering or a comparable technical field recommended.
Qualifikationen
- Background in plasma or laser physics is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to turn complex data into decisions.
- Sense of urgency - strong desire for short time to result.
- Confident communication skills in English; comfortable working across cultures and disciplines.
- Occasional domestic and international travel, including to the United States, may be required as part of this role (approx. 10-15%).
- EU work permit required.
Erfahrung
- 3+ years of relevant experience in system development and experimental engineering.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB / Python).
