- In your role, you will manage and support the company's application portfolio, ensuring stable operation, optimal performance, and high availability of business-critical services.
- You will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications running primarily in Linux-based environments.
- Working closely with internal IT teams, infrastructure providers, software vendors, and business stakeholders, you will identify and resolve application-related issues and drive continuous service improvements.
- As part of our hybrid IT landscape, you will contribute to both on-premises and cloud-hosted services.
- While the initial focus of the role is on Linux-based application operations, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise in cloud technologies and support our ongoing cloud transformation journey.
- Managing and supporting business-critical applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Performing application deployments, upgrades, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring application health, performance, and availability.
- Coordinating incident resolution and driving root cause analysis.
- Collaborating with vendors and infrastructure teams to ensure stable operations.
- Automating operational processes where appropriate.
- Contributing to operational documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational processes.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in application management and cloud technologies.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Completed Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a comparable field.
Qualifikationen
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating environments.
- Good understanding of application deployment, maintenance, and operational processes.
- Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English.
Erfahrung
- Professional experience in Application Management, Application Support, System Administration, IT Operations, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting business-critical applications.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis tools.
