Deine Rolle im Team
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer (German-speaking) - Work-at-home with deep, hands-on expertise in Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) and Azure Arc.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in designing, deploying, and managing end-to-end hybrid infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
- You will play a critical role in helping modernize infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability while enabling seamless hybrid cloud integration.
- Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot hybrid infrastructure solutions using Azure technologies.
- Implement and manage Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) environments.
- Plan and deploy Software Defined Networking (SDN), including logical networks and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage Network ATC, including intent-based networking and RDMA/NIC teaming validation.
- Deploy and optimize Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), including performance tuning and resiliency troubleshooting.
- Manage storage provisioning, including volumes, shares, and tiering strategies.
- Onboard and manage resources using Azure Arc, including policies, extensions, and governance.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines on Azure Local environments.
- Implement and operate Azure Update Manager for hybrid environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, and compliance across hybrid infrastructure.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Proven ability to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions (300-400 level expertise).
- Solid background in virtualization technologies: Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local, VMware (nice to have within virtualization scope).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across networking, compute, and storage layers.
- Knowledge of Azure Storage (accounts, networking, private endpoints, archival scenarios).
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) concepts (host pools, session hosts, hybrid identity).
Erfahrung
- Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), Azure Arc (primary focus).
- Advanced experience with: Software Defined Networking (SDN), Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Windows Server (2012 R2 - 2025).
- Experience with System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
- Experience with Azure Backup (policy configuration, restore validation, hybrid workloads).
