Ausbildung

• A completed degree at Master's level or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field is required.

Qualifikationen

• Good knowledge of build and release concepts, such as Yocto, Buildroot and cross-toolchains, is important, together with an understanding of CI/CD principles.
• Requirements and systems engineering, including traceability from requirements to tests and the definition of clear acceptance criteria, should be familiar to you.

Erfahrung

• Several years of experience as a software architect or senior engineer in complex, product-oriented devices or systems are expected; experience with measurement instruments is a strong advantage.
• You have hands-on experience in hardware-related software development with modern C++ and are able to design stable and maintainable C++ APIs.
• End-to-end software architectures, from embedded or firmware layers to device services, GUIs and remote APIs, should be part of your experience.
• Experience with C++ unit and integration testing, mocking, test automation, static analysis and profiling tools such as GoogleTest, Catch2, clang-tidy, sanitizers, perf or ftrace is expected.
• Strong teamwork skills, a customer-oriented mindset and a structured, documentation-oriented working style are important. Experience with AI-assisted development tools and shift-left methods is desirable, and strong communication skills in German and English complete the profile.
