Deine Rolle im Team
- As a Senior Manager DC Software Development, you are responsible for leading and coordinating our software development team in Karlsruhe, which specializes in the purchase, development, and optimization of software solutions for our data center and bare metal teams.
- You will play a key role in shaping our technology roadmap and ensuring that our software infrastructure supports our teams' work in the best possible way while meeting the highest standards for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of highly skilled software developers and system engineers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop the strategic direction of data center & bare metal software development in collaboration with your product owners and other stakeholders.
- Identify and integrate new technologies and trends into our solutions.
- Oversee the entire software development cycle from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Ensure the technical quality and architecture of our software solutions.
- Make informed decisions regarding design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Work closely with data center and bare metal operations and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth operation of our data center applications.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of our software to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of the data centers.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks of our applications and during the implementation or introduction of new solutions.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification.
Qualifikationen
- Profound knowledge of modern software development methods (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby on Rails).
- Strong affinity for current AI trends and their practical application to optimize business processes and create innovative products.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud architectures, virtualization, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Basic understanding of network architecture and firewall configurations is desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team environment.
Erfahrung
- Several years of experience in a leadership position in software development, ideally in a data center or similarly technically complex environment.
- Experience in designing scalable, highly available, and robust software systems for data centers.
