Deine Rolle im Team
- Develop and maintain the multi-brand Android Automotive OS (AAOS) client for the Group App Store.
- Design and deliver new features from implementation through integration and release.
- Adapt the application to different vehicle brands, ECUs, and hardware platforms.
- Integrate backend services and ensure robust communication between the vehicle and backend systems.
- Analyze and resolve software issues on automotive hardware and continuously improve the existing codebase.
- Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a reliable in-vehicle App Store experience.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Deep understanding of Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, and modern Android architectures such as MVVM/MVI.
- Expert-level proficiency with Coroutines, RxJava, Jetpack Compose, XML, REST APIs, Retrofit, OkHttp, and Hilt/Dagger.
- Confident working with complex existing codebases, with a strong clean-code and pragmatic engineering mindset.
- Strong communicator and team player in an international environment; fluent in English, German is a plus.
Erfahrung
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience with strong expertise in Kotlin and Java.
- Experienced with automotive app lifecycle, OTA/store update mechanisms, and debugging on automotive hardware.
- Experienced in GitHub-based CI/CD and Agile development environments.
