Deine Rolle im Team
- Develop embedded control software for highly precise next generation lithography systems in the semiconductor industry.
- Design and implement software for bare metal controllers with a strong focus on professional C development.
- Develop and maintain embedded Linux software components depending on the requirements of the respective system.
- Translate technical and functional requirements into robust, maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to software architecture and support technical design decisions for complex embedded systems.
- Analyze runtime behavior, system interactions and relevant edge cases to ensure reliable and stable system performance.
- Develop and continuously improve test environments and infrastructure for software verification and validation.
- Support the definition and implementation of appropriate testing strategies for embedded software components.
- Collaborate closely with specialists from software development, electronics, control engineering and system development.
- Work within an agile and highly specialized development team and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, control engineering, mathematics, physics or a comparable technical or scientific discipline.
Qualifikationen
- Sound understanding of low level embedded software concepts, including memory management and hardware related programming.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and the ability to derive technical solutions from system requirements, runtime behavior and edge cases.
- Python knowledge for test automation and development of test infrastructure is an advantage.
- Knowledge of FPGA technologies or VHDL is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary development teams.
- Very good English skills, German language skills are an advantage.
Erfahrung
- Several years of recent hands on experience in professional embedded software development using C.
- Strong practical experience developing software for bare metal systems and resource constrained embedded controllers.
- Practical experience with machine oriented software development, embedded Linux or real time systems.
- Experience contributing to software architecture and making technical design decisions within complex software environments.
- Experience with software testing, verification and validation in embedded environments.
