Deine Rolle im Team
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and related services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments to ensure high performance, stability, and security.
- Manage and enhance virtualized infrastructure environments based on VMware, Proxmox technologies and associated storage platforms.
- Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness across multiple company locations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support Linux-based systems, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve networking and infrastructure incidents while providing technical support and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Ausbildung
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifikationen
- Industry certifications such as: Cisco CCNA / CCNP, VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE / FCP, Similar networking or infrastructure certifications.
- Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, switching, network segmentation, and redundancy mechanisms.
- Knowledge of storage technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues in a structured and efficient manner.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation, scripting, or configuration management tools.
- Exposure to security best practices, network hardening, and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
Erfahrung
- Strong hands-on experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
- Practical experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies (including IPSec VPNs), routers, and managed switches.
- Experience managing VMware-based virtualized infrastructure in production environments.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational processes, and infrastructure standards.
- Experience working with Linux-based systems and server administration.
- Experience supporting multi-site or globally distributed infrastructure environments.
- Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or other highly technical environments.
