- You will be our first full-time frontend-focussed engineer and take ownership of the entire frontend codebase and architecture.
- You act as the expert in the frontend domain and are the go-to person for all teams regarding our web applications.
- You maintain and evolve existing applications, and you are a key player in the creation of new applications that extend our product surface.
- You will work closely with design to create a consistent and reusable design system.
- You have a taste for design, can define what a good UX looks like, and you bring attention to all the details.
- As a Senior Engineer on this team, you own the full product loop.
- You don't implement specs handed to you.
- You're in discovery conversations, forming hypotheses, shipping, and measuring.
- High autonomy, high accountability.
- In the first 6 months, you will take full ownership over complex, ambiguous projects: define requirements, navigate trade-offs, and drive delivery.
- Build prototypes and new applications from zero to one that unlock new value for our customers.
- Specifically, help ship a platform for Digital Product Passports that doesn't just comply with regulation but is a joy to use.
- Coach and mentor other engineers in the team on system architecture.
- Improve how we build: invest in tooling, processes, and abstractions that multiply the team's output.
- Identify problems others don't see, and turn them into actionable proposals.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Proven track record of owning and driving impactful product initiatives end-to-end as a senior/staff individual contributor.
- Expertise in high level programming languages like TypeScript (preferred), Python Java, Rust or Go.
- Expertise in frameworks for creating scalable web applications like React (strongly preferred), Angular, Vue or Svelte.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities and direction can shift quickly, and is ready to pivot when the data points a new way.
- Business-Fluent English (written and verbal) for internal and external communication.
Erfahrung
- Demonstrated senior-level experience leading system design and architecture decisions, including technical planning, and cross-team architectural ownership.
- Experienced in leveraging AI to accelerate product development.
