Deine Rolle im Team
- Translate R&D business needs into scalable technical solutions, working directly with domain experts and key stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end architectures for cloud-native applications - covering data flows, integration patterns, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Product Management to shape product vision, refine requirements, and ensure alignment between business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Lead and mentor team of developers, conduct design reviews, and guide teams in component-level decisions and best-practice adoption.
- Design and evolve APIs (REST, GraphQL, event-driven) with strong focus on usability, stability, and backward compatibility.
- Ensure security-by-design, including secure cloud patterns, container security, secrets management, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, and secure coding practices.
- Drive proofs of concept for emerging cloud services, AI capabilities, integrations, and automation scenarios.
- Work across the full technology stack: Single Page Applications, Web services & APIs, Event-driven or microservice architectures, Cloud infrastructure (IaC, DevOps), Generative AI agents and workflow automation.
- Ensure reliability, maintainability, observability, and operational excellence in production environments.

Qualifikationen
- Strong curiosity and intrinsic motivation to continuously learn (technology, cloud, business, or scientific domains, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Hands-on development skills (TypeScript, Python) with deep cloud expertise (Azure, GCP) and secure API design (incl. OpenID Connect).
- Fluent in English.
Erfahrung
- Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5+ years of professional experience.
- Passion for developer experience and enabling teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently with solid experience with modern architecture & DevOps (DDD, microservices/modular monoliths, CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes).
- Ability to operate across strategy and hands-on technical problem solving ('all flight levels'); R&D experience is a plus.
