  • Our client is advancing its in-vehicle voice assistant into an intelligent, AI-powered companion. Since 2024, large-language-model capabilities (Azure OpenAI / ChatGPT) have been integrated into vehicles using the MIB3 infotainment system, with new E³-architecture models featuring enhanced voice functions from the factory. The AIME (AI Model Engine) backend program supports this development over multiple years, encompassing natural-language dialogue, empathic communication, and a comprehensive cloud-edge data pipeline. DXC Luxoft serves as the end-to-end delivery partner, collaborating as a joint product team with the client's engineers on the Azure platform (AKS, Azure OpenAI, Managed Identity, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps).
  • We are looking for a Solution Architect to own the technical vision across all three AIME work packages. You will translate Audi's product roadmap into concrete cloud-native, AI-first architectures and act as the primary technical authority in the joint product team. The role spans both high-level design and hands-on review, with regular presence in Ingolstadt.
  • Define and maintain the end-to-end system architecture across the LLM/RAG pipeline, voice I/O layer, Azure cloud backend, and in-vehicle edge components.
  • Own architecture decision records (ADRs) and ensure alignment between Audi engineers and the DXC Luxoft delivery team.
  • Lead solution design for Azure services: AKS, Azure OpenAI, Managed Identity, Azure Monitor, and Cosmos DB.
  • Guide AI/ML engineers on LLM integration patterns (RAG, prompt engineering, ASR/TTS orchestration) and ensure production-readiness.
  • Conduct technical reviews of pull requests, infrastructure-as-code changes, and sprint deliverables.
  • Represent DXC Luxoft in Audi Architecture Board (AP-A) sessions; prepare architecture artefacts and briefing materials.
  • Identify and mitigate cross-cutting risks: security, scalability, compliance (ASPICE, ISO 21434).
  • Mentor senior engineers and provide cross-WP technical coordination.

Unsere Erwartungen an dich

Qualifikationen

  • Proven track record designing AI/LLM-based products in production (RAG pipelines, agentic systems, or voice AI).
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipeline design.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with customer architects and senior stakeholders.
  • English C1; ability to work effectively in a joint-team model.
  • Knowledge of ASPICE L2 process requirements and ISO 21434 cybersecurity obligations.
  • German language skills (B2 or above).

Erfahrung

  • 5+ years as a Solution or Enterprise Architect for cloud-native, distributed systems.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure: AKS, Azure OpenAI Service, Managed Identity, Azure Monitor / Application Insights, Azure DevOps.
  • Automotive domain experience (VW Group, CARIAD, MIB3, E³ architecture).
  • Experience with edge-cloud hybrid architectures (in-vehicle components connected to cloud backends).
