Deine Rolle im Team
- Lead multi-sprint work on the network subsystems you own, from design through rollout and day-to-day operation.
- Design and evolve secure, reliable connectivity between ground stations, data centers and cloud environments.
- Design highly available networking setups for critical customer deployments.
- Build and manage network infrastructure through automation, API-driven configuration and version-controlled change across routers, switches and firewalls.
- Act as a go-to expert for deep network issues in production, and put patterns and guardrails in place that prevent them from coming back.
- Shape how the team designs, reviews and documents network changes, with the impact on other teams in mind.
- Set the standard for managing change in critical production systems.
- Own critical production systems with a focus on reliability, observability and security against real-world threats.

Qualifikationen
- Deep routing and switching expertise, including BGP and peering, data center and core networks, and multi-vendor environments.
- Network automation with modern tooling such as Git, Ansible or Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to lead network design decisions and to explain and defend the trade-offs with peers.
- Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with the ability to balance technical quality with business needs.
- Strong Linux networking skills.
Erfahrung
- Extensive experience designing and operating production IP networks, for example at an internet service provider, hosting or cloud provider, data center operator or systems integrator.
- Hands-on experience running network infrastructure in at least one public cloud, AWS preferred.
- Experience with secure network design, including VPNs, firewalling and encrypted connectivity.
- Software development experience, especially for network applications and automation (for example Python or Go).
- Experience with data center fabrics such as EVPN.
- Experience and willingness for hands-on work with physical network and data center infrastructure.
