Deine Rolle im Team
- Act as the primary technical interface for customers during pre-sales and early development phases.
- Support customer engineering teams in evaluating and adopting MIPS solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance on: Processor IP integration, Software toolchains and development environments and System architecture considerations.
- Drive design-in activities at OEMs, Tier-1s and design houses.
- Support technical discussions to secure design wins for: CPU IP licensing, Custom silicon programs, Automotive platform solutions, Assist customers in transitioning from evaluation to implementation.
- Help customers understand and implement MIPS' value proposition: Open RISC-V architecture flexibility, Multi-threaded, high-performance compute, Functional safety-ready solutions (ASIL), Support system-level optimization for performance, power and cost.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues across hardware and software domains.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to escalate and address complex challenges.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues to maintain project momentum.
- Partner with Business Development to support opportunity creation and closure.
- Provide technical input to proposals, RFIs, and customer presentations.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.
- Support engagement with ecosystem partners (software, EDA, design services).
- Participate in customer workshops, demos, and industry events.
- Help position MIPS solutions within the broader automotive semiconductor ecosystem in EMEA.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in an engineering discipline or similar.
Qualifikationen
- Proven track record supporting customer engagements and design wins.
- Strong understanding of Automotive electronic architectures (MCUs, SoCs, domain/zonal controllers).
- Key use cases such as ADAS / perception systems or Motor control / electrification.
- Familiarity with: Processor architectures, Embedded software development (compilers, SDKs, OS) and System-level design and integration.
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a field-based role.
- Hands-on technical mindset with strong debugging capability.
- Ability to bridge technical depth with customer business needs.
- Fluent in English (Written & Verbal: C1).
Erfahrung
- 5-10+ years in Field Application Engineering, Applications Engineering or Design Engineering.
- Experience in Semiconductor IP, SoC/ASIC development, or embedded systems, Automotive electronics or related markets.
