- What does that mean in practice? We make our customers' lives easier by allowing them to pay for Mercedes-Benz goods and services across the entire customer lifecycle: from the purchase phase (initial financing/leasing rate, online reservation payments or down payments to full vehicle payments) through the usage phase (car-related services like fueling, charging or Digital Extras or the e-Vignette from the Mercedes-Benz Store) all the way to the retention phase (early contract settlement).
- Mercedes pay as a platform was launched in 2018 and is now live in 45+ markets across the globe, playing a central role in the digital business model of Mercedes-Benz.
- We enable payments across all customer touchpoints, no matter where the customers are: via app, web, at the Point of Sale and even the car itself. Mercedes pay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG with offices in Stuttgart, Berlin and Singapore.
- Our solutions enable: Digital Extras & subscriptions, Mobility services like fueling and charging, e-Commerce (ATC), Online vehicle sales and full vehicle payment (in selected markets), In-car payments, Loyalty.

- You will collaborate in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment where your experience and hands-on attitude are valued.
- You will set up and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, align them with best-practice standards using infrastructure as code, and support the rollout of new payment products and services from an infrastructure perspective.
- You will support releases and ensure the reliable operation of CI/CD pipelines, including up-to-date compliance and security checks for our builds and deployments.
- You will further develop our data pipeline and integrate it with other systems.
- You will leverage Datadog features to monitor changes to our infrastructure.
- You will contribute to IT Operations activities during the rollout of products to new markets and use cases.
- You will collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Group IT specialists and external providers to co-create innovative solutions and contribute to AI-based IT Operations solutions at Mercedes pay.
- You will play a key role in ensuring the operational excellence of our global payment platform.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- You have successfully completed a relevant degree in Computer Science or have equivalent professional experience.
Qualifikationen
- You have a strong passion for IT and bring an open-minded, highly motivated attitude.
- You have strong solution-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
- You have knowledge of IT security best practices and common standards.
- You are fluent in business English and technical English.
Erfahrung
- You are proficient in cloud service architecture best practices and have experience writing infrastructure as code.
- You are proficient in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm, and have experience in software development (e.g. Java), Git SCM, and the Atlassian toolchain.
