Deine Rolle im Team
- You will play a key role in enhancing the user interface and user experience of Nextcloud's applications.
- You will work closely with the engineering team to develop and improve features across applications such as Euro Office, Files, Calendar, Contacts, and more.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an open-source environment and enjoys building modern, scalable front-end solutions.
- You'll contribute to core components, help shape the user experience, and collaborate with a global contributor community.
- Software development in JavaScript and PHP with a focus on frontend technologies.
- Design, development, and implementation of new user interface features and improvements.
- Cross-platform testing to ensure consistent behavior across environments.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance for new and existing features.
- Work in the open on GitHub and collaborate with the community.

Qualifikationen
- Familiarity with open-source technologies and workflows.
- Teamworking capabilities as well as independence and self-reliance.
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills in English.
Erfahrung
- Strong experience with JavaScript and modern frontend development.
- Experience with git and GitHub essential.
- Experience with TechStack Canvas is desirable.
- PHP experience is a plus.
