Deine Rolle im Team
- You will design and build scalable data-driven personalization systems that power content discovery and user engagement across high-traffic digital platforms.
- Collaborating with engineering, AI, and data teams, you will develop cloud-native solutions that bring machine learning models into production and directly impact millions of users.
- Build and run production-grade data products end to end, from design and development to deployment and operations.
- Apply strong backend engineering standards around clean code, APIs, testing, observability and performance.
- Ensure reliable data through quality checks, lineage, freshness, clear ownership and robust data models.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data Science and support less experienced engineers through mentoring.
- Optimise services, pipelines and data models for scalability, reliability and cost.

Qualifikationen
- Strong software engineering skills with Python and the willingness to work with Go.
- A strong focus on data quality, observability, documentation and ownership.
- Good communication skills, sound technical judgement and a proactive mindset.
Erfahrung
- Senior experience in backend engineering, data engineering or both, ideally in AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Experience with APIs, pipelines, data modelling, schemas and production systems.
