Deine Rolle im Team
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with IAM services on national and international level. You are going to contribute to the shaping of federated identity management, together with other IAM operators in the European landscape.
- Your key responsibilities include:
- Operating and developing several AAI / IAM services.
- Performing support for user having issues.
- Prototyping extensions of the AAI.
- Attend to user requests (group management and authentication issues).

Ausbildung
- Excellent Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable relevant fields.
Qualifikationen
- We are looking for a colleague who can confidently operate modern infrastructure and understands what it takes to run a highly available AAI / IAM service in production.
- Required / strong fit:
- Programming skills (Java, Python).
- Strong Linux skills (process/network debugging, automation, scripting).
- Nice to have:
- Observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Loki, OpenTelemetry).
- How you work:
- You enjoy structured operations: measurable SLOs, calm incident response.
- You communicate clearly across disciplines and hierarchies in an international context.
- You patiently respond to user requests.
Erfahrung
- Relevant experience in platform operations, Site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- AAI / IAM experience (e.g. OIDC, SAML, Incident management and response).
- Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience (e.g., Terraform/Ansible, GitOps).
- Experience with (distributed) web service deployment, such as reverse proxies, TLS certificates, load balancing, API endpoints.
- Experience in distributed RDBMS (Galera preferred).
- Experience operating cloud technologies and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes and its ecosystem).
