We are looking for an experienced (Senior) Manager Data Engineering (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of solutions for our BI and data platform, supporting the business's growth. You'll work closely with an agile team of Frontend Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and QA professionals. Your expertise will be essential in guiding and coordinating technical teams to deliver top-notch solutions and providing valuable insights to meet the needs of our business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architectural design and development of our BI and data platform to support business growth.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.Identify business stakeholders' needs and provide technical consultation and solutions.Implement monitoring capabilities to ensure data quality, reliable results, and robust data pipelines.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Erfahrung
Several years of professional experience in analytics engineering across various areas, including data ingestion, data storage & compute, transformation, BI/analytics tools, and master data management.Technical proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft PowerBI, DBT (Data Build Tool), Microsoft Master Data Services, Semarchy, and IBM Cognos.Strong soft skills, including the ability to express and advocate for your opinions and ideas, ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.Fluent in English (working language), German language skills are optional.Nice to have: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure PAAS (Platform as a Service).Nice to have: Experience and knowledge of media processes, technologies, and platforms such as Google CM360, Google DV360, Meta Facebook/Instagram, etc.
