Deine Rolle im Team
- As a Data Engineer, you'll build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers game analytics, live operations, reporting, and business intelligence across Sandbox Interactive.
- Combining software engineering with data analytics, you'll enable teams to make data-driven decisions by delivering reliable pipelines, scalable data models, and meaningful visualizations.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision making.
- Build and optimize data models, ETL processes, and SQL queries.
- Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Monitor and improve our data platform, logging infrastructure, and reporting systems.
- Support analytics initiatives by providing reliable, accessible, and actionable data.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Qualifikationen
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and software engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) in English.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering ecosystems.
Erfahrung
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing and optimizing complex queries.
- Professional experience with Python, C#, or another modern programming language.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Experience working with BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar).
- Experience in the games industry or another data-driven digital product environment.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK Stack) or similar observability tools.
- Experience with Apache Cassandra or other distributed databases.
- Experience building reporting solutions for live operations or product analytics.
