- Predict42, a leading AI startup in the space of feedback analytics, is looking for a highly motivated Working Student in Data Science & Application Development to join our innovative team.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment, contributing to LLM-driven AI solutions and interactive data applications.
- You'll work closely with our data science and engineering teams, developing machine learning models, building data acquisition pipelines (including web scraping), and creating user-friendly interfaces with RShiny or Streamlit.
- Collaborate with the data science team to develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models, focusing on real-world business problems in feedback analytics.
- Assist in data acquisition efforts, including designing and developing web scraping solutions to collect and integrate relevant data.
- Contribute to data collection, preprocessing, analysis, and feature engineering to derive actionable insights, particularly from text-based data for LLM applications.
- Design and implement interactive data applications and prototypes using frameworks like RShiny or Streamlit to visualize insights, enable user interaction, and demonstrate model capabilities.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of data science projects, from understanding requirements to contributing to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Backend Engineers, ML Engineers, Product) to understand project requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge in data science, application development, and AI through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifikationen
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and programming.
- Familiarity with building interactive web applications using RShiny or Streamlit.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP preferred).
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in German.
Erfahrung
- Hands-on experience with at least one web scraping library/framework (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy in Python).
- Basic understanding or experience with machine learning concepts and libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
