Qualifikationen

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, able to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data engineering depth: Expertise in SQL & Python, building robust data pipelines and data models, and operating data at scale in warehouses/lakes (e.g., Delta, Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL) with strong focus on data quality, accuracy, and reliability. Strong dbt proficiency and familiarity with Spark.
• Reporting & insights: Solid understanding of data visualization and enablement through tools like Looker/Tableau and notebooks (e.g., Jupyter).
• Business and stakeholder focus: Able to prioritize effectively, manage stakeholders, and translate business needs into clear technical plans and delivered outcomes.
• Autonomy & ownership: Proactive, customer-oriented, and comfortable owning projects end-to-end, balancing system health (monitoring, performance, cost) with new delivery.
• Team impact: Collaborative and mentoring-minded, enjoys sharing knowledge, raising standards through reviews, and helping the team succeed.
• AI-first mindset: Uses modern AI tools to boost productivity and accelerate solving business needs - while maintaining strong standards for quality, security, and governance.

Erfahrung

• Experience: 5+ years in a relevant data role. You've built and owned a data domain end-to-end - from source integration through to the models and metrics that downstream teams depend on.
